The Game and Fish report referenced some of my statements to the media. Please remember, I was excited to tell people how I caught my record walleye and wanted to provide more details. It is important to recognize my statements to the media were NOT an official statement and included my perception of events. In an official statement, I would be very clear as to what are the facts and what are my beliefs and perceptions. If my words were pulled out of context, it would not provide the full picture of what I was trying to convey. On Page 4 of the Investigation Report, Game and Fish referenced my text message to Anderson and some of my social media posts. Nearly everything I stated in my text to Anderson could have been proven true with direct evidence, and it provided additional information and evidence to Game and Fish. Investigation Report Page 3 - Quad Rider's Emails On page 3 of the Game and Fish Investigation Report, we learn there was another "witness" which was not named or listed on page 1 of the report. I referenced this "witness" as Quad Rider. Quad Rider did not provide an official statement or speak with the investigator, but sent a series of emails. Investigation Report Pages 2 and 3 - Matthew Knuth On page 1 of the investigation report, Matthew Knuth was listed as an "involved person" and "witness." On page 2 and beginning of page 3, the Game and Fish investigation report referenced only  some of the statements made by Matthew Knuth. What we have learned from POST 6 in my blog, Knuth was the only witness who provided an official statement to Game and Fish who believed my walleye was foul-hooked.
